We have developed a mobile crisis service, to help those patients and families who are in such difficulty that they are unable to come to a hospital for assessment / treatment, and require assistance. Working in collaboration with Dr Chandrashekar of Victoria Hospital, and incorporating the latest developments in mental health Law, we are able to go to a patient’s home on their family’s invitation, assess and assist their transfer by ambulance to Manasa.

2. Consultation Liaison Links
We have built links with super specialist hospitals such as in diabetology and nephro-urology, to provide what is termed consultation liaison services, i.e. in dealing with the mental health issues that arise in complex disease management.

3. Pharma@Manasa

We now have a specialist pharmacy on site that is dedicated to stocking a full range neuropsychiatric medications, so that our patients will no longer have to search high and low for pharmacies that reliably stock the latest medication that they are prescribed.

4. Renovation: special rooms

As part of our phased renewal plan, we now offer air-conditioned special rooms with televisions, fridges, sofas, for those who wish these.
